Priory Youthreach Tallaght was awarded a Silver Standard Health Quality Mark in recognition of its work on health promotion for young people.

Presenting the award at a special event held in Priory Youthreach, Greenhills Rd on Monday, January 29, Bríd Collins from the NYCI National Youth Health Programme said that the award was a testament to the dedication and hard work of all at the Priory Youthreach who are committed to the highest quality standards in health promotion.

“Congratulations are in order to the staff and learners of the Youthreach, especially to Sandra as coordinator of the Health Promotion Team and those who have guided the organisation through the HQM process to ensure that their work is in line with national and international best practices in the area of youth health promotion,” she said.

“The Priory Youthreach is a credit to those working there and it is clear that health promotion has been included in all aspects of the Youthreach.

“The great work carried out here supports the national Healthy Ireland campaign, which is about increasing our focus on prevention, health promotion, and supporting young people to improve their health and wellbeing.”
