Last Saturday saw the opening of the first Hustle Bustle Food & Farmer’s Market at Westmanstown Sports & Conference Centre in Lucan
Organiser Eoin Morris was delighted with the turn out and the ‘buzz’ on the day.
“Lots of people attended,” said Eoin. “There was a lovely atmosphere and the footfall was there for sure. We had a nice mix of traders, with several more joining us next Saturday, and we hope to build on that in the coming months.

“Hot breakfasts with Irish Charcoal Barbeque (pictured) went down well, and hot coffee courtesy of Beanery from Celbridge. There’s also fresh organic fruit and veg, candle makers and other crafts, fresh fish and shell fish, along with fruit smoothies and baked goods.
Eoin himself used to have a small coffee van doing the markets. “I loved it as a hobby and I made loads of friends on the market scene. With the pandemic restrictions, the markets were wound down.
“So the idea of this venue was that it’s open air, big and spacious – a great opportunity to get trading again, while adhering to social distancing guidelines.”
Open from 9.30am-3.30pm on Saturdays at Westmanstown Sports & Conference Centre, Lucan.
