Portmarnock man David Lynch returned home from San Francisco recently to marry his Wicklow bride, Tara Mooney.

It was a case of engineers sealing the deal – David is an Associate Engineer with Engineering 350 LLC, a renowned building design company while Tara is a Senior Engineer with Supira Medical, which specialises in heart valves and pumps.

The couple were married in the ruins of Doon Church, Ballybunion where her great grandfather William Martin Lynch was baptized in 1885 and where her mom Edel attended mass as a child.

The bride and groom travelled home from San Francisco to be joined by family members, friends from the US, England, Germany and Canada. The reception was held in the scenic venue of Ballyseede Castle.
