VODAFONE and Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton announced this week that 200 jobs would be created for the Dublin Rathdown area.
Vodafone will open its new European sales centre in Leopardstown in a move that marks a €60m investment in the economy.
The announcement is a “fantastic win for Dublin Rathdown,” according to Olivia Mitchell, Fine Gael TD for Dublin-Rathdown.
Deputy Mitchell said: “Dublin-Rathdown is a prime investment location, increasingly successful in attracting businesses offering high-quality jobs.
“These new jobs are a welcome boost to the Dublin-Rathdown economy, as job creation always has a knock-on effect for the local community with local businesses benefiting from the newly employed people.”
