Together Academy is thrilled to announce the graduation of their inaugural class of 2023 with celebrations and ceremonies hosted by the Merrion Hotel on June 1st .
This joyous occasion was a day filled with well-earned congratulations to the 16 students graduating from the 2 year employability skills course in partnership with the Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education & Training Board.
In attendance at the ceremony among students, families and staff were Anne Rabbitte- Minister of State at the Department of Health and at the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, Simon Harris- Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science and Simon Coveney- Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment of
Ireland.



Throughout their time in Together Academy, this inaugural graduating class showcased exceptional academic achievements and work place engagement, exemplifying the academy’s core values of inclusion, team work and ability. Following their graduation from our programming, these exceptional students are ready to navigate their way through the world of employment armed with the tools to succeed thanks to their hard work throughout their time in Together Academy.
“To see our students grow into the confident, hardworking individuals each of them are throughout their time in Together Academy has been a joy” said Therese Coveney, Founder of Together Academy. “Students have shown tremendous determination, resilience, and a real interest in taking an active role as future employees in the workforce.” Together Academy graduate Orla Casey remarks on her time in the course as transformational: “The courses and work experience I have
received in Together Academy has made me more confident in my ability to work with people, and to speak my mind. My voice matters, and I have the training to make a difference and to have a job that I love.”

Congratulations to the Together Academy class of 2023 for their incredible achievements,
posed to take the world by storm in their next adventure. Exciting times are ahead for the academy
as they prepare to open our joint venture with Happy Out Café in Dun Laoghaire this summer and
welcome new students into the program in early 2024. The Academy thanks the Merrion Hotel for
hosting the first ever graduation and are thrilled to partner with them in providing work
experience and employment opportunities for students.
