Ticketmaster is calling on fans to name the best show or event of 2019 in its annual Ticket of the Year competition.
And voting for your favourite concert, show or match, or what event you are looking for to most in 2020, could win one lucky person a €500 Ticketmaster gift card.
There’s so much to choose from after venues across the country welcomed extraordinary live acts in 2019 such as the Spice Girls, Westlife, Lewis Capaldi, Nicki Minaj, Khalid, Fleetwood Mac, P!nk, Post Malone and so many others famous names.
That’s not to mention the remarkable plays, musicals and family shows including Disney on Ice, Riverdance, Les Miserables, The King and I, War Horse and Dirty Dancing which we all enjoyed this year.
There were also some unforgettable sports events at Aviva Stadium such as Ireland v Wales in the Guinness Summer Series; the Heineken Champions Cup Quarter Final between local rivals Leinster Rugby and Ulster Rugby, and then the vital UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifier between Republic of Ireland and Switzerland.
And it’s going to be just as good in 2020 with Ireland on the itinerary for such big-name acts and events as The Who, Celine Dion, Halsey, Slipknot, Elton John, Westlife, Rammstein, The Phantom of the Opera, Green Day and many others.
By voting, fans will automatically be entered in a competition to win a €500 Ticketmaster gift card giving them a chance to get their hands-on live entertainment tickets for some of next year’s great events.
