The Digital Hub continues to expand with 16 new companies relocating there in 2017

The Digital Hub continued to expand last year, with 16 new companies moving in to the Dublin 8 enterprise cluster.

Additionally, 12 Digital Hub-based companies expanded, making it now home to almost 85 businesses which employ a total of 732 people.

CEO Fiach Mac Coinghail expects The Digital Hub to keep growing in the new year.

“2018 is set to see a continuation of demand from within our cluster to support scaling businesses,” he said.

“The Digital Hub remains strongly committed to supporting and providing our community of technology and digital media companies with the opportunities to learn from industry leaders and each other at regular seminars, workshops and meetups on our campus that we arrange throughout the year.”

New companies to the Hub include Irish interactive entertainment company Giraffe Games; Wall Street headquartered Wachsman PR agency; animation production companies Gingerbread Animation and Mooshku; data driven training specialists Kubicle and the Audi Dublin International Film Festival.

There’s a 75:25 split between indigenous and foreign direct investment businesses located in the state-managed business campus.

The Digital Hub is managed by The Digital Hub Development Agency which was set up in 2003 by the Department of Communications, Climate Change and Environment to help implement National Digital Strategy.
