Blanchardstown Centre has teamed up with the St Vincent de Paul (SVP) for over 20 years and this year is no different with the Blanchardstown Centre Giving Tree Appeal.

Ensuring that no child goes without a gift this Christmas morning, the Giving Tree asks shoppers, staff and passers-by to choose a card from the Giving Tree in Blanchardstown Centre and donate an unwrapped gift such as toys, clothing, or gift card to the SVP.

The Giving Tree can be found on Level 2 of the centre and is live now, running until December 23 next.

This project has generated 50,000 gifts since its development in 2001 and Sorcha Holmes, Fundraising Manager stated: “This year, hundreds of struggling families across D15 will celebrate Christmas with the help of the SVP’s Giving Tree Appeal in Blanchardstown Centre.

“Our hope is that we can alleviate as much of this pressure as possible so that everyone can enjoy a happy Christmas with their families. Our local volunteers will be working tirelessly to ensure this and we are hopeful that less people will go without this year.”
