African Run Ireland 2023 will take place in St Catherine’s Park in Lucan at 9am on Saturday, September 23 with a medal for all finishers.
Vincentian Lay Missionaries Ireland (VLM) are delighted to announce their new event – African Run Ireland. This run will have two lengths – 5km and 10km.

This event will support the work of VLM across Africa,
“We are a small Irish charity that sends volunteers and fundraises for our partner projects in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya and Tanzania,” said Melissa on behalf of VLM.
“With this in mind, the Africa Run Ireland will have a theme of ‘Fees not Tees’. Instead of receiving a race T-shirt a donation from every registration will be made towards the fees of a school place for a child in Tigray in Ethiopia.
“You can help us give children in this war-affected area the life-changing opportunity of an education. All finishers will receive an African Run Ireland medal.”
