To celebrate summer Stars 2021, South Dublin Libraries is running a selection of events for children and families across the library branches, writes Kim O’Leary.
North Clondalkin Library is having a Sports Day on July 28 for ages six plus, a Treasure Hunt in Collinstown Park on August 18 at 2pm and Storytime in the Garden which is on every Thursday at 3pm.
Meanwhile Palmerstown Library Digital Hub is having a Scavenger Hunt for families in Glenaulin Park on Wednesday, July 21 in the afternoon.

Summer Stars includes a reading challenge to encourage continued reading throughout the summer. Children can sign up for the challenge at their local library to get a record card and some special gifts as a little reward too.
