14 Dublin schools attended the final of this year’s Dublin City Student Enterprise Programme which took place this week, writes Amy Rohu.

Now in its 20th year, the Student Enterprise Programme is an initiative Ireland’s network of Local Enterprise Offices. It is the country’s largest and most successful student enterprise initiative with over 1,300 students taking part in the Dublin City region alone in recent years.

A pet dog fitness monitoring harness, bicycle repair kit complete with QR codes for online repair tutorials and an innovative substance to improve the grip on a hurl in rainy conditions were just three of the 19 student enterprises from 14 schools in Dublin city to have traded their way to the final this week.
