Minister for Special Education and Dublin Rathdown TD, Josepha Madigan, has announced that the tender process has concluded for a brand-new building of the Stepaside Educate Together Secondary School, writes Amy Rohu.

The school, which is located on the Ballyogan Road, Leopardstown, will get a new, stand-alone, 1000 student school building with a 4-class SEN base beside the Leopardstown racecourse.

Speaking about the announcement, Minister Madigan said: “This is fantastic news for the local school community, students, staff, and parents. I am also delighted that the project will include an all-important SEN base, which recognises the importance of supporting the inclusion of students with additional needs as part of our education system. This is an area in which Stepaside Educate Together Secondary School has been exemplary.”
