Ruby Moss has released yet another son, this time a Christmas song, entitled ‘Christmas with My Friends’.  It’s a fun and happy festive song with all sales in aid of Eden Animal Sanctuary.

“Christmas with my Friends” is an upbeat Christmas song,” says composer and singer Ruby. “I wanted to write something as a Christmas gift to my friends and family because they are what makes Christmas time special – all my friends and family, other than human and non-human!

“The song was written and recorded in July, just before my 14th birthday. I had written in some spaces for my friends to sing but due to everything that’s happening re the pandemic, it just proved too difficult to get us all together to record those pieces. Maybe next year – hope Gazette readers like it!”

In October, Ruby was selected as a participant in the Creative Lab Programme in the National Concert Hall. This is sponsored by Accenture and RTÉ, and as part of the programme, Ruby is being mentored to produce some music that will be performed at the New Music Festival in Dublin in April.  Very exciting times for the Cabra teenager!
