More than 350 children aged between 4 – 10, brought their sick or injured teddies to attend the 8th annual Teddy Bear Hospital at RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Hosted by RCSI Paediatrics Society in aid of Barretstown, the event aimed to alleviate childhood fears about healthcare environments and increase health literacy. This year’s Teddy Bear Hospital included sessions specifically created for children with disabilities or chronic illnesses who may encounter doctors and hospital environments more regularly.
