A spokesperson for Dublin City Council has confirmed the offensive and threatening graffiti scrawled across the rear wall of the former Black Horse has since been removed.

DCC acknowledged and welcomed the prompt action of the property owner who removed the ‘sinister’ threat again An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar on Thursday last.

SF’s Cllr Daithi Doolan also commended the swift action to remove the vicious sentiment from the wall visible to thousands of daily commuters along the Luas Red Line which stops in Drimnagh.

He stated: “If people want real change, then they should become active in their community and work together and bring about the change we all want. This appalling graffiti did not represent the good people of Drimnagh and Inchicore.”
