Major search for missing 14-year-old girl

Gardaí in the Republic have issued a full blown child rescue Ireland (CRI) alert to locate a 14-year-old girl missing from Co Louth since last Monday.

Svetlana Murphy was last seen along the  Coast Road in Blackrock, Co Louth on April 19 at around 4pm.

She was seen leaving her home on Coast Road in Blackrock, Co Louth at around 4pm on Monday 19 April.

Her father reported her missing at the the time, saying the 5’ 1”  brown-haired teenager was wearing navy tracsuits bottoms with a red and white stripe on the leg, a black zipped top as well as black runners. She is described as having brown eyes and slim build.

Gardaí have informed the public that they have serious concerns  in this case as  there is an serious risk to the health or welfare of Svetlana, who is in the company of  an 18-year-old, Nojus Maculevicius. He is about six feet tall and also described as being of slim built with dark brown hair and clean shaven. When last seen he was wearing dark grey Snickers work trousers and a black Snickers top.

Both Svetlana and Mr Maculevicius were travelling in  a silver car, a Hyundai Veloster, with registration number 132-D-13518.

If you think you have seen them, Gardai advise not to approach but to ring them immediately on the emergency number or call you local garda station.
