An investigation is underway after a woman’s body was discovered at an apartment in Malahide earlier this morning.
The body of a woman in her 30s was found at an apartment shortly before 6am, in the Waterside Drive area of Malahide.
It’s understood that Gardai, an ambulance and units from Dublin Fire Brigade all raced to the building, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement to Dublin Gazette, a spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said: “Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman, aged in her 30s, at an apartment in the Waterside Drive area of Malahide that occurred on 22/09/2020 at approximately 5:45am.
“Gardaí and emergency services attended. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem will determine the course of the Garda investigation.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
