A Dublin landmark will be brought back to life at the end of the month, as Lucan’s The Foxhunter makes its final preparations before opening, writes Rachel Cunningham.

In advance of the doors being opened once more, a recruitment open day will be taking place tomorrow, April 8.

The venue on the N4, which was originally a roadside public house in the early 1900s but has been unused since its closing in 2012, will reopen following an extensive refurbishment.

The Foxhunter will include a pub, an Elephant & Castle restaurant and a WOWBURGER. There will be a dedicated indoor children’s play area and a large event space available for private functions.

Applications for full and part time hospitality roles are being accepted for bartenders, waiters, server assistants, bar backs, cleaners, kitchen porters and duty managers.

The recruitment day will take place between 12pm and 7pm and interested candidates are asked to visit on the day with a copy of their CV, or to email [email protected] in advance.
