A creche in Lucan is celebrating after winning top prize at a national awards ceremony.
Staff members at Giraffe Lucan on Ballyowen Lane were overjoyed when they took home the highly coveted Creche of the Year award at a recent awards night.
The local team at Lucan were nominated for the award due to their outstanding commitment to childcare.
Manager Siobhan McElroy said:
“It’s wonderful to be recognised for the care and quality service our team provides on a daily basis.
“We are privileged that families choose us and trust us with their precious children every day.
“I’m so proud of the whole team for their hard work and commitment, and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings.”
Cheryl Creaser, CEO at Busy Bees, also praised the local business for their achievement.
“It was a pleasure being joined by Giraffe at this years’ annual Nursery Managers Celebration,” she said.
Giraffe Childcare operates 21 settings in the Greater Dublin area and was recently acquired by Busy Bees, the UK’s largest childcare provider.
The awards recognise and reward individuals and team excellence across 374 Busy Bees nurseries in the UK and Ireland
