Urban Plant Life

Urban Plant Life, Dublin’s only city centre garden centre located at Cork Street in the Liberties, spans an impressive half acre of plants, tools and gardening equipment. Proprietor Sam Smyth established the centre 25 years ago.

“Since we re-opened in May, our online services have blossomed. We are literally out the door with orders. Notably, house plants have really taken off. The Corner Butcher

The Corner Butcher, located at Leonard’s Corner on the South Circular Road is run by Anthony Kelly.

“I took over the business three years ago,” said Anthony “There has been a butchers here since 1928. We have four staff and have a great rapport with local clientele.

“There always a bit of banter going, the only way to get through these difficult times, along with providing quality meats and poultry, all Irish sourced. Fresh fish too from Kish Fish here in Dublin – guaranteed from Irish waters.”

Hens Teeth Diner, Gallery, Wine Bar and Store located at Blackpitts, D8 opened last November. Rosie Gogan-Keogh, MD, stated: “We are a gallery, art and lifestyle store but also a wine bar and diner.
