Cllr Keith Connolly welcomes the new library which will open this summer and the old library will close on Saturday, June 24 at 5pm, to prepare for the move into the new facility, writes Rose Barrett.
.“The old library has served our community well,” said Cllr Connolly “But DCC’s €2 million investment in the area is greatly welcomed and the new library will be much more accessible for all.” The new library will be open at Seamus Ennis Road, as the former library in the village centre closes.
“The date and times of the new facility will be advertised on social media in July,” said Cllr Connolly (FF) who welcomed the hoarding being removed recently at the construction site of the new amenity.
