Fingal County Council Housing Department will host a housing information event scheduled for Monday week, September 25 from 5-8pm, at The Riasc Centre in Swords.
This event marks the third in a series of Housing Information Events, aimed at empowering residents with vital knowledge about affordable housing schemes, vacant homes grants, refurbishment/upgrading initiatives and local authority home loans offered by FCC.
This event is open to all members of the public and provides an excellent opportunity for residents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the schemes and grants available through the local authority.

Attendees are welcome to join us in a seminar setting starting every hour, each packed with valuable insights, whether you’re seeking to purchase a new home, renovate an existing one, or explore the available housing schemes and grants, this event is designed to provide you with the information and support you require.
Robert Burns, FCC’s Director of Housing and Community Development, expressed enthusiasm about the event’s potential impact, saying, “Our goal is to ensure that everyone is well-informed about the council’s affordable housing schemes, refurbishment grants, and local authority home loans. We have been delighted by the significant success of our previous events, with high levels of engagement from residents. It’s great to witness how these events have effectively informed and assisted residents in understanding the range of schemes we have available.”
Interested residents are encouraged to register in advance by filling in the online form at Swords Housing Information Event (office.com). For additional information on housing schemes and grants offered by Fingal County Council, please see https://www.fingal.ie/housing-services.
