The iconic Dublin centre came out on top against famous tourist attractions including the Eiffel Tower in France, Buckingham Palace in England and Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia to reclaim the title as Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction 2023, which was last held in 2015.



For the second year in a row, The Guinness Storehouse has been voted Europe’s Leading Beer Tour Visitor Experience Award. The Home of Guinness was the only Irish nominee in this year’s Beer Tour Visitor Experience category, which included Fuller’s Brewery, England, The Heineken Experience, Netherlands, and The Budweiser Budvar Brewery, Czech Republic.

Now in its 30th year, The World Travel Awards, often dubbed the “Tourism Oscars,” is the most prestigious, comprehensive, and sought-after awards programme in the global travel and tourism industry. The awards acknowledge, reward, and celebrate excellence and are recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence.
