As part of a wider charity effort that has seen Glenveagh employees raise €18,701 in fundraising efforts over the past year, volunteers from the company spent a March morning in Dublin city centre volunteering at charity partner, ALONE’s Housing Facility, writes Rachel Cunningham.
Eighteen Glenveagh staff assisted with tasks such as painting, gardening and general maintenance,.
In addition to fundraising support, Glenveagh work with the ALONE team to share industry experience around housing and support several employee volunteers programmes throughout the year.
Speaking about the partnership, ALONE CEO Séan Moynihan said, “We are grateful to the Glenveagh staff for their help and hard work today and over the past year of our partnership. It is wonderful to see Glenveagh give back to the areas in which they operate and help to build inclusive and sustainable living spaces for all members of the community.”
