Irish brand Folkster are set to return to Dundrum Town Centre this Autumn with a brand new pop-up shop, featuring Irish designers and a Christmas gifting floor.

Occupying the former Urban Outfitters unit on the Town Square once again, Folkster will open officially on October 8, following a private bridal sale on October 3 and 3.

Folkster is owned by Irish designer and buyer Blanaid Hennessy, and is a small, family-run, Irish brand with responsibly sourced products.

The brand currently has branches in Kilkenny and Dublin City Centre and is a popular destination for day and evening wear, much of which is designed in Ireland.

Blanaid Hennessy, owner of Folkster, said: “We are thrilled to be returning to Dundrum Town Centre for our Christmas superstore. We feel fortunate and excited to be creating a magical store for our customers, filled to the brim with Folkster’s Winter fashion, home, gifts, and toys.”

Don Nugent, Centre Director at Dundrum, said: “Folkster is a wonderful Irish brand with fantastic products that we know our consumers love. We are delighted to have the Folkster team back to Dundrum Town Centre this Christmas.”

The three-storey pop-up in Dundrum will include a dedicated Christmas and gift floor, self-care and homeware collections, their latest party and day wear collections, a street-style vintage collection, and a Folkster Gown Room with a bridesmaids collection.

There will also be fitting rooms with a spacious lounge area, a personal stylist on offer, and toys, books and gift boxes for kids.

This will be Folkster’s largest venture yet, and will be open seven days a week. The two floors of clothing, gifts and Christmas decor will be available to walk in customers, but those looking to see the bridesmaid collection or who would like to use their personal stylist are asked to book in advance on Folkster’s website.
