Fingal Chamber, in conjunction with Fingal County Council, recently launched the annual Fingal Business Awards, a prestigious recognition of the outstanding achievements and social responsibility demonstrated by businesses across the Fingal region. The launch was hosted at FCC offices in Swords and aim to celebrate the extraordinary talent, drive, innovation and success that drive economic growth and community prosperity in Fingal.
Organised by Fingal Chamber and sponsored by FCC, these awards are free to enter and open to all businesses, both small and large, who operate in Fingal. With 25 diverse categories, all business sectors, private, public and charity in the Fingal region are invited to participate.The awards are open to various industries and business sizes, ensuring every remarkable accomplishment is acknowledged. From ‘New Business of the Year’ to ‘Innovation Excellence,’ and ‘Community Impact Award,’ these categories recognise the multifaceted contributions of businesses in Fingal.

Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Adrian Henchy was in attendance with Fingal Chamber President, Helen McNamara; FCC CE, AnnMarie Farrelly; Fingal Chamber CE, Anthony Cooney; and FCC’s Director of Economic, Enterprise Tourism and Cultural Development, John Quinlivan; and members of the local business community.
The awards serve as an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their successes and gain valuable recognition on a larger stage. By entering the awards, businesses can highlight their achievements, share their stories, and inspire others to strive for excellence.

Businesses interested in participating can submit their entries through the Fingal Chamber website, where they will find detailed information about the award categories, eligibility criteria, and the submission process. The entry period opened on Friday last September 1 and closes on September 29.
The awards will be judged by an esteemed panel of industry experts, independent business leaders, and representatives from Fingal Chamber. The process culminates with the Gala Awards Presentation Evening, a glamorous networking event that brings together the finest minds in Fingal’s business community. MC will be Marty Whelan, at the Crowne Plaza, Dublin Airport in Santry on Friday, November 10.
Speaking at the launch, Fingal Chamber President, Helen McNamara said: “Now in their ninetieth year, the annual Fingal Business Awards continue to be the premier and most prestigious awards event for businesses operating in the Fingal region. We are inviting each and every person in the private, public or charity sectors, to enter the awards this year to showcase their achievements, and then join us for a night of celebration, networking and fun at the Gala Awards Presentation Evening on November 10.”
