A restaurant in Dún Laoghaire was forced to close at the weekend after a fire spread through the premises.
Hartley’s Restaurant will be closed until further notice following the fire which occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Dublin Fire Brigade said five units were called to a blaze in Dun Laoghaire.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus fought the fire and prevented it spreading. A hydraulic platform also attended the scene.

Owners Julie and Kirsty said: “Unfortunately we will be closed until further notice. To say we are gutted is an understatement, especially for our staff who have already been through so much in the last 18 months. We will see you all soon”.
The incident occurred just one day before the restaurant was due to reopen for in-door dining, following the new guidelines set out by the government.
