Santa will find time to visit Donabate/Portrane on Sunday next (Dec 19). He will be visiting all estates on his sleigh in Donabate/Portrane from 2pm on Sunday afternoon, writes Rose Barrett.

Parents and children are asked to to remain at front doors, or in their front gardens and wave to Santa from there. If you believe access may be an issue on your road (example cul de sac or parked cars), the organisers have asked people to go to the nearest open space in the estate and safely view Santa from there, while maintaining social distance at all times.

This will be a strictly social distance event as we know the most important thing is for Santa and all the children to stay well for Christmas Eve and the main event! No large gathering of crowds and please, don’t follow Santa!

Santa will start his visit at 2pm driving through Semple Woods , Beresford, Beverton, Turvey, The Fairways, Donabate Village, Baltra Hall , The Spires, Orchard View, Hazelwood , Barnwall, Beverton, Eden Grove, Lambs Court, Cois Inbhir, Beaverbrook, Kingsland, St Michaels House, The Links, Somerton, Carrs Mill, Rahillion, The Priory, Longstone, Seaview Park, the Strand , St Patricks Park and Corballis. Keep an eye on local social media platforms for updates.
