Workers raise money for school playground

Cuisine de France employees have raised €23,463.50 to help with the refurbishment of a school playground in Clondalkin, writes Kim O’Leary.

Staff of the bread manufacturing company Cuisine de France who are based in Grange Castle participated in its 50km walk.

The cheque for €23,463.50 was presented to some of the staff, teachers and students of the Clondalkin school on June 11. Scoil Mochua educates approximately 65 children from the age of three to 18 years that have multiple disabilities.

The funds raised will go towards a very special refurbishment of the playground at school for all the children to enjoy.
