Corina Johnston, local Labour representative for Donabate-Portrane reminds that Cloudforests will be coming to Donabate Community College this Friday, July 14.
“Volunteers are needed on Friday morning from 10am-1pm, to help put down cardboard and mulch in advance of planting of the stepping stone forest in September. “
Cloudforest stated through their Stepping Stones programme, over five hundred native Irish trees and shrubs will be planted; up to 10 times the Co2 sequestration of normal forests with increased biodiversity.
