Fingal County Council commenced Christmas trees for recycling at the following collection points from Wednesday (Jan 4), writes Rose Barrett.
While ‘Little Christmas Day’/the Feast of the Epiphany is traditionally the day Christmas decorations come down, many families had the festive decorations up early, in order to quash the pervasive shadow of Omicron as it spread so quickly in December.
The trees – please note – only Christmas trees can be deposited at the below locations, up to and including Friday (Jan 21, 2022).
Other green waste, Christmas tree stands, etc. will not be accepted.
