Collie O’Neill’s Shamrock Rovers will host Killester Donnycarney in the first round of the FAI Cup proper, while junior outfit Cabinteely will welcome another of Dublin’s giants in Bohemians.

The Hoops have enjoyed an impressive start to life back in the Women’s Premier Division, and will be hoping that they can taste cup success this season.

Elsewhere, DLR Waves will host Wexford Youths at the Belfield Bowl, while Athlone Town will take on Galway United.

Sligo Rovers face Donegal side Bonagee United.

Kate Mooney, meanwhile, scored a perfect hat-trick for league leaders Peamount United as they cemented their place at the top of the WNL league table.

In the men’s draw, meanwhile, Declan Devine’s Bohemians are set for an FAI Cup rematch against Shelbourne in the first round of the competition next month.

The Gypsies were dumped out of the tournament at Tolka Park last season at the quarter-finals stage thanks to a 3-0 humbling.

But this tie at Dalymount on the weekend of July 23rd gives them an opportunity to atone for that heartache.

And in the other mouth-watering tie of the round, Dundalk will take on Shamrock Rovers at Oriel Park.

The Lilywhites have endured a patchy campaign thus far but will be confident that they can turn over the Hoops at home.

Holders Derry City also host Athlone Town, while 2021 winners St Patrick’s Athletic visit Longford Town.

Drogheda United and Sligo Rovers will play at Weavers Park in the only all-Premier Division tie of the round, while League of Ireland new boys Kerry will take on Ringhmahon Rangers.

Cork City will make the short trip to Munster rivals Treaty United, whereas UCD host Cobh Ramblers at the Belfield Bowl.

All ties will be played on July 23.
