An innovative, interactive children’s ambulance service will be open for parents and children alike to experience across Dublin next week.
The BUMBLEance will visit Mothercare stores in Blanchardstown, Belgard and Carrickmines over the coming week.
BUMBLEance is the world’s first fully interactive Children’s National Ambulance Service, specifically designed for and tailored to children. The service ensures the safe transportation of sick children between their home and paediatric hospitals, hospices, national treatment centres and respite centres nationwide.
They also provide a unique and vital service through their Angel Trips, the final journey a child.
Laura Ward, Marketing Director of Mothercare Ireland commented on the partnership “we think long and hard before selecting our charity partners and BUMBLEance is a perfect fit for us and our customers.
“The work they do is so important and these issues could impact on any one of our lives without any warning. We are in our third year of support for the charity and look forward to kicking off the tour in our hero Carrickmines store.”
The Dublin leg of the tour, kicks off in The Park, Carrickmines store Saturday, 11th May from 10am to 4pm. The BUMBLEance will then travel to the Blanchardstown store, Saturday, 18th May and to Belgard, Sunday, 19th May.
Mothercare supports the children’s ambulance service, a safe and comfortable transportation method for Ireland’s youngest patients, through a series of year long campaigns.
Mothercare stocks the BUMBLEance Bee soft toy, with 100% of all sales going to the charity and there are BUMBLEance collection canisters at each till point.
