Bram Stoker festival returns with spooky fun for the family

One of Dublin’s biggest and most anticipated festivals, Dublin City Council’s Bram Stoker Festival is back with live events across the city this October Bank Holiday Weekend.

The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Daithí de Róiste was joined by Dracula and characters from Bram Stoker’s iconic novel to launch the Dublin City Council Bram Stoker Festival 2023 and officially kick off spooky season!

More than 50,000 people are expected to enjoy four days of deadly adventures across the October Bank Holiday Weekend, Friday 27 to Monday 30. The packed programme celebrates the legacy of one of Ireland’s most treasured authors and sees incredible new experiences alongside the revival of some festival favourites for Dublin’s bravest souls.

At the launch the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Daithí de Róiste was Maggie Li dressed as the character of Mina from ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’, Dante Gall – dressed as the character of Count Dracula from ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’ and Jamie Carthy dressed as the character of Johnathan Hacker from ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’.
