Swimming ban lifted on beaches

‘Do Not Swim’ prohibition notice has been lifted at Rush South beach. Bathing water quality results for resamples taken at Rush South and Portrane on Thursday, 8 June met the standard for “excellent” water quality.

The prohibition notice on Rush South beach has been lifted.

The prohibition notice for Front Strand Balbriggan was lifted on July 9. All Fingal Identified beaches have now a standard of excellent in latest sampling. The next scheduled seawater sampling date is Monday, 19 July.
