Baldoyle Forum Clg invites the community to celebrate on Sunday next, December 3, writes Rose Barrett. The Forum will host a festive variety show in Baldoyle Community Hall with the much anticipated Tree Lighting in the Village Green.
“The fun begins on Sunday next at 2pm with complimentary tea/coffee/hot chocolate, tasty treats and face-painting for the little ones,” said Liz Turner. “At 3pm, the music and entertainment commences with a host of local groups led by Baldoyle Song and Dance, Baldoyle Musical Society & Canbeltos 60 strong women’s choir.
“The grand finale will be the arrival of Mr and Ms Claus who will lead the torch lit procession of local clubs, schools and the wider community. At 4.45pm, we will have the official turning on of the Christmas tree lights followed by a couple of Christmas favourites. Everyone is then welcome to get out of the cold and head over to The White House for free mulled wine!”
