Smart Balbriggan has announced the ‘The Changing Face of Balbriggan Hackathon’, writes Rose Barrett.
This is a free, day-long event to be held on Saturday, October 16 from 9am-6pm and is open to everyone over the age of 18. To be held at the Bracken Court Hotel, this is a hybrid event, and you can choose to attend in-person or online.
This is an opportunity to explore new and creative solutions to local challenges in the town of Balbriggan – with prizes for the best ideas! A ‘hackathon’ is an event that brings together lots of people from different backgrounds to work together to solve challenges.
