Jury in Ana Kriégel murder trial sent home for the evening

The jury in the trial of two teenage boys accused of the murder of Ana Kriégel has been sent home for the evening and will resume deliberations tomorrow morning.

The two 14-year-old boys deny murdering 14 year old Ana at Glenwood House, Laraghcon, Clonee Road in Lucan on May 14, 2018.

The first accused boy also denies aggravated sexual assault.

The jury of eight men and four women have now been deliberating for 11 hours and 24 minutes and will resume deliberating at 10 am tomorrow morning.

The trial has been ongoing for seven weeks.

Judge McDermott recalled the jury just after 3pm before sending them home for the evening.
