Ahead of the All-Ireland replay this Saturday, one Glasnevin business has caused a stir locally with their amusing sign.

The northside branch of Des Kelly Interiors erected a huge 30 foot banner, playfully teasing Dublin’s rivals Kerry outside the shop.

Currently hanging proudly outside the store, the huge sign reads ‘Roses are Red, The Hill will be Blue, Kerry Were Courageous, But We’ll Show Them in Round 2!’

Speaking about the sign, and the upcoming match, Greg Kelly said: “We are proud of our roots and back the Dublin team every step of the way. Fingers crossed this sign acts as a good omen and brings us the 5 in a row. Up the Dubs!”

The sign has proved popular on social media, with Dubs supporters sharing pictures of the banner as they pledge their own support ahead of this weekends match.

Des Kelly Interiors are known for their elaborate signs including Valentine’s day poems,  an eye-catching marriage proposal last year and early close for the match banner.
