The annual Age Well Expo took place in the Pavilion at Leopardstown Racecourse presented by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council in association with the dlr Age-Friendly Alliance to celebrate and showcase services and products available to older people in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown where the attendance reached over a thousand people.
The dlr Age Well Expo also provided an opportunity to connect, engage and hear about topics of interest, particularly around the subjects of participation, health and security thus empowering older persons to participate in society and to overcome barriers to achieving wellbeing. The event was free of charge and featured a large and diverse exhibition space, performances, talks, demonstrations along with a networking and café area.
