Site investigations to be carried out this week on New Street, Malahide

Ground Investigations Ireland, on behalf of Fingal County Council, will conduct site investigations on New Street Malahide from Monday to Wednesday this week.

Work will happen between 10am-4pm and 7-11pm commencing today, Monday 24 October.

“Noise and disruption to residents and businesses will be kept to a minimum,” said Fingal County Council.

Preliminary design drawings and feedback forms were made available up to earlier this month to locals showing the latest proposed designs for the pedestrianised New Street.

However campaign group, Save Malahide Village continues to object to the closure of New Street while Fingal County Council remains determined to see the pedestrianization to full completion. See previous coverage here:
