Status Yellow Weather Warning for Ireland – Dublin to experience cold, fog and frost this am

Met Eireann warn this morning will be cold and frosty with icy stretches and freezing fog in places.

Motorists are urged to drive cautiously given poos visibility in places and icy conditions

It will be mostly dry and as any remaining fog breaks up, good sunny spells will develop. Highs of 4 to 6 degrees in light variable winds, later becoming southeasterly and freshening.


Cloudy and windy with outbreaks of rain extending from the southwest, with some drier interludes at times.

Lowest temperatures before midnight of +1 to +4 degrees, though temperatures will become much milder as the night goes on, in fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds veering southwesterly.


Mild, wet and windy with spells of rain, turning heavy at times. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees, in fresh to strong and gusty south to southwest winds.
