Mayor Square book fair for Ukraine

Big hearted Liz Maguire was inspired to organise a series of book sales, after attending a similar event in Rathgar and noticing that there were a lot more books than there were people.

She has raised over €3,000 but hopes to hit the goal of €5,000 by the end of the year. 

This Saturday October 8, a second-hand book fair is being held in aid of Ukraine in Mayor Square, IFSC. 

Attendees will be asked to contribute a €10 donation as they enter the National College of Ireland, a price that will both support the Irish Red Cross in Ukraine and will allow you to take home as many books as you can carry.
