To celebrate the reliable, quirky and practical dads this Father’s Day, Lily O’Brien’s commissioned a survey asking the dads of the nation ‘what’s in your man drawer’.

Over half fit under the practical category, with 59% keeping batteries in their drawer, 56% storing a measuring tape and 54% holding on to a screwdriver. Nearly a quarter (23%) like to stash chocolates in their man drawer to ensure they have a sweet treat close by. This Father’s Day gift Lily O’Brien’s Chocolates, perfect for every man drawer.

You can always rely on dads, with 44% storing super glue, 42% holding on to spare keys and 40% keeping cable ties in their drawer.  Nearly a third (30%) of those surveyed keep spare change, over a quarter (28%) store lightbulbs and nail clippers, and 23% hold on to foreign currency for all those just in case moments.

A surprising 4% of dads keep their false teeth in their man drawer, with the same percentage storing alcohol and a tenth are wishful thinkers and hold on to their lottery tickets in hope.
