Fingal County Council Libraries Department is delighted to host a series of talks with author and retired Detective Chief Superintendent John O’Brien.
Coinciding with the Centenary of An Garda Síochána, John O’Brien invites the public to attend a series of talks titled ‘A Day in the Life’. Detective Chief Superintendent John O’Brien who served at many different levels in the policing and security service of Ireland gives a first-hand account of his experiences. The talks are based on his latest book Securing the Irish State: 1922 – 2022.
The series of talks promise to be full of intriguing stories from John’s career, giving attendees a fascinating insight into a career with An Garda Síochána. The first was held last week at Blanchardstown Library.
