In September the Umiskin Press will bring to the reading public its most ambitious title to date in association with the Irish Labour Society, which will be launched on Thursday September 14th in the Liberty Hall Theatre at 19.30.
The joint authors of Labour History in Irish History are John Cunningham, Francis Devine, and Sonia Tiernan, contains 12 lead chapters with supporting contributions backing up the lead articles in chapters. The book will also contain information about the ILHS over its 50 years 1973-2023 along with visual images and short descriptions of some of the main treasures from the collections held in the premises in Beggars Bush.
Below there is information on the ‘early bird rate’ for the upcoming Conference, from now to May 31st, which is being hosted in the Liberty Hall Theatre, Forsa Head Office, TCD Long Room Hub, and The Teachers Club from 14-17th September 2023.
