Highfield Healthcare situated on the main Swords Road near Whitehall Church provide a range of specialist Mental Health Services, Alzheimer’s Care and Nursing Homes services.
Highfield in conjunction with Whitehall College of Further Education is delighted to announce a new innovative programme which is due to commence in September 2023.
This programme is aimed at school leavers and those wishing to return to the workforce and will provide a great opportunity to gain a professional qualification whilst in paid employment. During the two-year programme, prospective candidates will work in a supported clinical environment, have course fees paid while availing of paid leave to attend Whitehall College of Further Education.
At the end of the programme, successful candidates will have a recognised formal Healthcare Assistant, QQI Level 5 Qualification.

At the programme launch, Mr Stephen Eustace, CEO Highfield Healthcare said: “We are delighted to partner with a highly respected local college and support local people obtain a professional qualification while working in the organisation”.
Dr Ann O’ Reilly, Principal, Whitehall College described the initiative “as a great opportunity for school leavers and mature students to acquire healthcare skills and personal development”.
A number of planned open evenings will take place over the coming weeks, commencing on 19th July will take place in Highfield Healthcare between 8am and 10am and 4pm to 6pm. Prospective candidates and their families can attend for further information.
