A national mental health charity has listed the four free mental health services available to people living in Dublin in 2024.

These services, provided by Turn2Me, include up to six free one-to-one counselling sessions and unlimited free support groups on anxiety, depression, relationship issues and grief.

Attendees can also access a free ‘thought catcher’ online mood diary and free helpful articles on how to deal with issues ranging from exam stress to the menopause.

Anxiety was the highest reported issue on the Turn2Me platform for people living in Dublin in 2023 followed by depression and then relationship issues

The charity, which helps around 10,000 adults with their mental health annually, stated that Dublin has the highest sign-up rate for its services and it expects this demand to grow in 2024.

Turn2Me operates 365 days a year and is funded by the National Office for Suicide Prevention and operates in the early intervention mental health sector.
