Gardaí attached to the Dublin Crime Response Team (DCRT) seized an estimated €65,000 in combined drugs and €9,180 in cash following searches in north Dublin on Friday evening last July 14 and the early hours of this morning, Saturday, 15 July 2023.
A vehicle was stopped on the Malahide Road at around 11.30pm on Friday, 13 July 2023. A small quantity of cannabis and €8,680 in cash was seized following a search of the vehicle.

A follow up search was later carried out at a property in the north east of inner city Dublin during the early hours of Saturday morning, July 14. An estimated €50,000 in cannabis drugs was seized along with €15,000 worth of magic mushrooms. €500 in cash and drug paraphernalia was also located at the property.
A man in his 30s was arrested Gardaí and he is currently detained at a Garda Station in North Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996.
