The Dublin Motorcycle Touring Club was founded in 1971 by a group of young men who were interested in motorcycle touring.  Some of them are now in their 70’s and are still active, touring and camping both in Ireland and abroad.

Each year the club members put forward a charity of their choice and whichever one is picked from the hat is the charity the club supporters during the year.  Last year the charity chosen was the Motor Neuron Disease Association.

During the year when the members are together at their monthly socials, weekends  away and their end of year Rally, they contribute donations to the fund.  Last year they raised €3,000 euro.

The charity selected for 2023 is the RNLI.
